Gestures, by Carlo Bordini.

Persons whose wrong gestures tremble
a bit
Persons whose wrong gestures. There are persons
for whom
to make gestures is an extremely
difficult thing. They try and
retry their
wrong gestures, and when one works it seems they all
work, but the longest
queue is that of wrong
gestures, [what
an interminable queue!!

The clumsy gestures repeated
after many years, the gestures
repeated for many
years, the comical gestures,
the slightly suicidal gestures.
The interlocutory gestures. The gestures
that don’t get across, the unattended
requests
for help,
the clumsy requests,
continued. the
suicidal
requests. The slightly shameful,
blasphemous, awkward gestures. The haughty
gestures, The
gestures
that lack weight or value being
clumsy, the calmly
clumsy, habitual gestures,
the ironical
gestures.
The resigned
gestures
The consciously awkward
gestures,
conscious
of being
clumsy and awkward,
The gestures that
contain
an implicit
excuse
and those that pretend
to be superb
The gestures that
know
that there is nothing to do.
The silent gestures
that
stand aside
The proudly rather meagerly
clever gestures
The gestures of they who know they are clumsy
and make gestures
so as
to move away
so as not
to appear
The resigned
gestures
The annoyed gestures
of they who know they
are awkward and are
considered clumsy
The stunned gestures
of they who do not know well
what they are doing
the vexed gestures
that ask for solitude

Or the definitive clumsy
gesture, that of no
longer communicating
of going off on a tangent for one’s own
solitude
and not communicating again ever
ever ever

the tics
the small tics
the gestures that try to remove
someone imagined or
imaginary

the knowing
one is judged
[by everyone]

the knowing one’s own gestures
are
judged

The gestures of they who inside feel
a weakness
that makes making any gesture
difficult
the silent gesture
as if they wanted others to understand
what they need
without having to move

the gesture of not making
any gesture

The imaginary
gestures
the imagining
of making
a gesture

the underwater gesture
to make gestures underwater
pointing at the people passing by
but no one discovers your finger
that moves underwater

The foreign gestures
there is always someone who sees
the gestures one makes
and establishes that they are
clumsy crazy mad awkward gratuitous
ridiculous
noticeable

there is always someone who establishes
that you are too thin
too fat
a bit too silent
not very coherent,
a bit strange
a bit disturbed. [(said
in an undertone).],
a not very practical
fellow
eager but
too solitary,
too introverted
too impractical
too unsociable,

The gestures that avoid
people. The gestures that avoid
being seen. The gestures
that cover, that try
to cover.
The gestures that instinctively
protect the face,
the head the hands
the mouth, even though
unconscious

The tics
the slightly ridiculous tics

The useless gestures
The fear of sounds. The
desire
not to be seen, the gesture
of covering oneself, the
desire to hide oneself, the
gesture of
covering one’s head. The gestures
of they
whose head
is elsewhere, the
gesture of covering
one’s head, face,
mouth, the untainted
gestures. The untainted
thoughts, the candid
virginal untainted thoughts.
gestures that do
evil without knowing it

I GESTI

Persone i cui gesti sbagliati tremano
un po’
Persone i cui gesti sbagliati. Ci sono persone
per cui
fare gesti è una cosa
difficilissima. Provano e
riprovano i loro
gesti sbagliati, e quando uno riesce sembra che tutti
riescano, ma la fila
più lunga è quella dei gesti
sbagliati, [che
fila interminabile!!

I gesti maldestri ripetuti
dopo tanti anni, i gesti
ripetuti per tanti
anni, i gesti comici,
i gesti un po’ suicidi.
i gesti interlocutori. I gesti
che non si fanno capire, le richieste
di aiuto
non accettate,
le richieste
maldestre,
continuate. le
richieste
suicide. I gesti goffi
un po’ vergognosi, blasfemi. I gesti
altezzosi, I
gesti
che non hanno peso o valore perché
maldestri, i gesti
tranquillamente maldestri, abitudinari,
i gesti
ironici.
I gesti
rassegnati
I gesti consapevolmente
goffi,
consapevoli
di essere
maldestri e goffi,
I gesti che
contengono
un’implicita
scusa
e quelli che fingono
di essere superbi
I gesti che
sanno
che non c’è niente da fare.
I gesti
silenziosi
che si
appartano
I gesti orgogliosamente
ben poco destri
I gesti di chi sa di essere maldestro
e fa dei gesti
per
allontanarsi
per non
figurare
I gesti
rassegnati
I gesti infastiditi
di chi sa di
essere goffo e di essere
considerato maldestro
I gesti straniti
di chi non sa bene
quello che fa
i gesti indispettiti
che chiedono solitudine

Oppure il gesto maldestro
definitivo, quello di non
comunicare più
di partire per la tangente per la propria
solitudine
e non comunicare più
più più

i tic
i piccoli tic
i gesti che cercano di allontanare
qualcuno
immaginato o
immaginario

il sapersi
giudicati
[da tutti]

il sapere che i propri gesti
sono
giudicati

I gesti di chi sente dentro
una debolezza
che gli rende difficile fare
qualsiasi gesto
il gesto silenzioso
come se volesse che gli altri capissero
ciò di cui ha bisogno
senza bisogno di muoversi

il gesto di non fare
nessun gesto

I gesti
immaginari
l’immaginare
di fare
un gesto

i gesti sott’acqua
fare dei gesti sott’acqua
indicando alla gente che passa
ma nessuno scopre il tuo dito
che si muove sott’acqua

I gesti estranei
c’è sempre qualcuno che guarda
i gesti che si fanno
e stabilisce che sono
maldestri folli pazzi goffi gratuiti
ridicoli
osservabili

c’è sempre qualcuno che stabilisce
che sei troppo magro
troppo grasso
un po’ troppo silenzioso
poco coerente,
un po’ strano
un po’ disturbato. [(detto
a voce bassa).],
un tipo poco
pratico
volenteroso ma
troppo solitario,
troppo introverso
troppo poco pratico
troppo poco sociale,

I gesti che evitano
la gente. I gesti che evitano
di esser visti. I gesti
che coprono, che cercano
di coprire.
I gesti che proteggono
istintivamente la faccia,
la testa le mani
la bocca, anche se
inconsapevoli

I tic
i tic un po’ ridicoli

I gesti inutili
La paura dei rumori. Il
desiderio
di non esser visti, il gesto
di coprirsi, il
desiderio di nascondersi, il
gesto di
coprirsi la testa. I gesti
di chi
ha la testa
da un’altra parte, il
gesto di coprirsi
la testa, la faccia,
la bocca, i gesti
illibati. I pensieri
illibati, i pensieri
candidi, virginali, illibati.
i gesti che fanno
il male senza saperlo
